"Conveniently located at the heart of christchurch, across the tram station. Peaceful atmosphere, great service and delicious food. appetizer: chicken strips with fries (son loved it, chips were crispy and chunky!). Most definitely HALAL and highly recommend the HUMMUS with Pita bread, was easily one of the best hummus we've had. Fluffy bread and creamy hummus: chef's kiss! Portion was really good too! Definitely try if you're in christchurch."

The service was excellent, and the staff were hardworking and cheerful — there was one employee named Shishi who truly deserves praise The location is also great. "We first noticed this place while on a tram tour—the incredible smell of the food immediately caught our attention, so we knew we had to come back. The restaurant itself is very small and cozy, giving it an intimate, authentic feel. Because of its size, it was a bit chaotic when we arrived, with people standing around and limited seating, but that also added to the lively atmosphere. Once seated, the experience quickly became all about the food. We started with the baba ganoush, which was absolutely delicious—smoky, creamy, and full of flavor. For our main, we shared the mixed meat grill, and it was more than enough food for two people. The meats were cooked perfectly, tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. Every bite was satisfying, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into the preparation. The quality and portion size alone made the visit worthwhile. Regarding the service, it could use some improvement. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and confused at times, which made the seating process stressful. When we asked a simple question about whether the mixed grill came with any sides, the response was very brief and delivered in a somewhat harsh tone, which made us feel uncomfortable. We were only trying to make sure we ordered the right amount of food, so a more patient and welcoming approach would have made a big difference. Overall, this place truly shines when it comes to food. If the service were more attentive and friendly, it would be an exceptional dining experience."

"Oh, what an awesome place. We were looking at the menu outside during the afternoon when two different complete strangers told us how good the food was. So, we booked a table for dinner. It was the best Mediterranean food any of us ever had. The servings were all really generous, the taste delicious and our server was lovely. Please, give this place a try. Chief did an awesome job."

"The lovely female waiter was super accommodating on both our visits and made our experience very enjoyable. The Lebanese smoked wraps are so divine and delicious. We had to return for our final night to enjoy the flavours and fresh meat. The cheese garlic pita was also delicious, and the chips are awesome."
